Congratulation to Sam Shalders on completing his work placement with EnergyAce.

Sam aged 15 is a Year 10 student from Deanery High School in Wigan and his ambition is to gain qualifications towards a career as an Electrical Engineer.

Sam said: “I have really enjoyed working with Katie and the lads on the shop floor and to get to know how a business works from the orders coming into the office all the way through to building the units”………“testing the products was fantastic and miles away from working with soldering irons in the class room”……“before I came to EnergyAce I thought they did solar panels but now I understand there is much more to energy saving and electrical engineering”.

EnergyAce was very impressed with the enthusiasm and application that Sam displayed during his week-long work experience at our manufacturing facility in Skelmersdale, Sam showed tremendous maturity and really got involved in the day to day activities of manufacturing the EnergyAce Energy Saving Systems.

Gary Vizard the Managing Director of EnergyAce said: “We were delighted to have Sam and he is welcome to return at any time even though he managed to clear the buffet during a training day with a few of our clients” …….. “ You can’t teach enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, Sam has been fantastic and I am sure he will be a huge asset to any prospective employer in the future”.

Good luck in the future with your exams Sam andwe are sure we will see you again, maybe as an Electrical Engineer in a more professional role.

What a fantastic week in the KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). We have formed a formidable partnership with KAFAAT Energy, which is a leading light in KSA to deliver the EnergyAce energy saving system to reduce energy spend and lessen demand on the electrical infrastructure by up to 50% in some cases. Thanks very much to Bashar and his team for making us all so welcome and we all look forward to a very positive future together.

Half year Jump

With the Olympics coming up fast on the horizon, we thought fit to use the analogy of a trained athlete. There’s no hop and skip associated with this performance just a straight, faultless jump as the outcome. The ‘jump’, refers to the half year sales just posted by Skelmersdale based, EnergyAce.

With all the negativity surrounding Brexit, based on employers not knowing what the future might hold, pure positivity surrounds the increase in turnover of this regional-electrical engineer. This promises to be a record year in its trading history.

EnergyAce is a solutions provider to the energy efficiency market. It manufactures energy saving systems in the form of Power Factor Correction (PFC) and Voltage Management Systems (VMS – Voltage Optimisation), in conjunction with its own patented technology to control and improve overall electrical efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and reduce electricity spend by up to 20%.

Managing Director, Gary Vizard comments: “There is no singular reason that the growth has resulted. It’s a reflection of the hard work and graft of our loyal team, combined with taking advantage of market opportunities both at home and overseas. I have to say the results are on schedule for where we predicted, but needless to say we are jumping with joy”.

EnergyAce is a trading name of Power Efficient Systems Limited that has been trading since 2002. The first six month has shown collaboration and ventures in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. More agents and distributors are coming from the European Community. And the innovation and launch, by this family business, of the EnergyAce Compact range – a domestic and light commercial product that works in all residential households and small businesses – has meant more enquiries and penetration of new markets. Needless to say, the implications are that there is a need for more, quality staff and electrician(s) are now being sought.
