The exceptionally prestigious King’s award for Voluntary Service has been given to Wigan Youth Zone!
EnergyAce are proud patrons of this fantastic charity and all the incredible work they do. Wigan Youth Zone join a very select group of 262 local charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups that have received the award this year.
Even more fitting is that they have received this accolade on their 10th birthday year which is a huge testament to the dedication and impact of their volunteer team over the past decade.

Sad to hear the demise of SDC Industries of 23 Colvilles Rd, East Kilbride, Glasgow G75 0RS who have recently entered administration .
SDC Industries, the manufacturer of the Varpac and Varmatic power factor correction systems, the Vario Static Varmatic voltage optimiser and the Vario Ultra Variable Varmatic voltage optimiser were especially strong in Scotland where EnergyAce have been operating since 2002.
EnergyAce offer global support and have recently opened a new rapid response base in Hamilton operated by ex SDC engineers, assets were also purchased following administration of SDC to offer a relatively seamless continuation of service for all old SDC Industries customers.

Fantastic day on Friday as the EnergyAce team were visited by the Minister of Employment, Guy Opperman, and the MP for South Ribble, Katherine Fletcher.
It was a privilege to show them how our products work and how they lead to huge monetary savings. They even had a go on the crimping machine!
