The company’s manufacturing and assembly plant also incorporates a plastic moulding shop, which brings flexibility to its manufacture and also free heating during the winter months.
During the due diligence required to participate in the Environmental and Product Innovation Awards, we carried out a detailed survey of the electrical supply which revealed that the site was electrically inefficient and as a consequence consuming far more energy than was requited.
The EnergyAce energy reduction system was applied and the electrical efficiency improved to around 99% while the electricity consumption reduced by around 10% resulting in lower energy costs.
