Their manufacturing site in Stockport operates a number of high value high speed printing presses utilising state of the art technology to manufacture efficiently and responsibly.
The APS Group had a requirement to reduce energy costs and reduce emissions in line with legislation and turned to the EnergyAce energy reduction system which was recommended by a third party.
The dynamics of the electrical supply included a high degree of non-liner loads like VSDs, Inverters and Thyristor drives which can be a challenge when reducing energy bills although the EnergyAce energy reduction system was implemented with the minimum of fuss and without and major changes to infrastructure to save 9% on overall electricity costs and improve electrical efficiency.
