The site in unique and was the first to install a shoe press on a tissue machine in the world providing a unique tissue product.
NTG had a requirement to reduce energy costs and reduce emissions in line with legislation and turned to the EnergyAce energy reduction system when recommended by a third party.
Conditions within the plant were particularly arduous with high temperatures and high humidity, which is typical of the industry, although the EnergyAce energy reduction system was implemented with the minimum of fuss and without and major changes to infrastructure.
